ARxGOS CONSULTING works with health care organizations and education systems to provide assessment and management of a number of pharmaceutical care needs.  Services include:

• Medication Safety Assessment and Management: We evaluate existing medication delivery systems in light of the Institute of Medicine Report, JCAHO recommendations, and Institute for Health Care Improvement. The evaluation will include specific recommendations and strategies for the organization to improve safety and minimize patient and organizational risk.
• Integrated Documentation/Data Management Systems: Utilizing palm top and desk top technologies, we provide documentation systems for pharmacist interventions, adverse drug reaction reporting, preventable adverse medication event monitoring, drug use evaluation and other performance improvement initiatives. System set-up and ongoing support are offered by AR_xGOS Consulting to assure that the applications are customized to the health care organization. Subscription services for data management are available.
• Formulary Management: Preparation of pharmacoeconomic and formulary monographs specific for the organization are available.
• JCAHO Preparation: ARxGOS is available to evaluate current systems, and make recommendations to meet or exceed JCAHO requirements.
• Performance Improvement Services: Utilizing documented data from the health care organization, formal and informal consultation services are available. One time, or regular customized reports can be generated to meet each organization's need.
• Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee Support: Preparation of Agenda items, including Performance Improvement, Formulary Monograph Support, Drug Use Evaluation, Policy and Procedure revision, and related supportive services are available.
• Drug Regimen Review: Patient specific consultative services are available to evaluate and optimize patient drug regimens.
• Professional Development: Professional development for medical, nursing, pharmacy and allied health staff is available. ARxGOS maintains a speakers bureau of clinicians with a wide array of experience to speak on multiple topics.
• Drug Use Evaluation: Identification of target drugs, establishing criteria, implementing and assessing results for formal evaluation are offered.
• Pharmacist Credentialing: Evaluation and development of staff to achieve established standards are available.
• Documentation for Performance Evaluation: Assessment of automated interventions by pharmacist can be conducted in terms of clinical and financial impact to assist in the fair evaluation of employee performance.
